My Zombie Romance

A novel — currently writing the 1st draft.

Dylan and I, we were holding hands on the sofa and talking about starting over. Working out our relationship problems. Seven years of being together was worth saving.

A tap tap on the glass patio door changed all that. Zombies can have that effect.

Not that I believe in zombies. No, absolutely not. Everyone else calls them that but I won’t. Zombie is just a made up word to scare people into doing horrible things they could never justify in everyday life.

Dylan and I, we would have found a way to make it out of the city if the yellow school bus hadn’t broken down. He’s gone missing now. Those zomb… those sick people took him.

We were working things out, turning our relationship away from a divorce. Transforming it back into a love story.

I won’t accept anything different. Not even when those sick people bite me and make me sick too.

I’m going to get him back.

About Jamie Thornton

I am a voracious reader in many genres. I do sometimes judge a book by its cover art. Life is too short to spend time reading or reviewing bad books. My own published novels are full of adventure, danger, and complicated characters. I call Northern California home. I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Anthropology and belong to the Wordforge writing group. I live, rather happily, with my husband, dog, a garden, a viola and a bicycle.
